Cold cold cold!

This morning on rising I found we only had cold water in the bathroom and none hot or cold anywhere else! A great start to the weekend! Sent the morning scrabbling around in the loft trying to find a frozen pipe and putting more insulation on anything the remotest bit at risk. Let loads of heat up into the roof space and the water eventaly started to run again, scearch all round the loft again for leaks touch wood found none. Went and mucked out Miller who is stable bound most of the day again due to the weather. The little birds seem to be the main loosers out here from the snow blanket covering thier food supply, the above hips are some of the last fruits and seeds still left in our garden despite the great lenghts of hedge left uncut !
