Crazed Ice & Cygnet

Went for a nice family walk at Birnie Loch today, were the ice was beautifully crazed. All the birds were congregated away in the distance so I was happy with several shots I got of just the patterns in the ice. Then, nearly back at the car, we passed this cygnet that was right next to the path. It didn't seem at all phased by our presence, until I got the camera out of course. Fortunately for me its exit was impeded by the ice, allowing me to capture the ice, the swan, the reflection and the colours of the reeds.
