Samples collection

A couple of years ago I was bored at a retro/vintage clothing fair at Chester racecourse.
In one corner of the room was a guy and I can't remember what else he sold, but he had a number books of cloth sample.
I paid £5 for one.

It was handmade between 1929 and 1936, is 12 x 18 inches and has over 100 pages of cloth samples.
Its a very rough and ready book and was just used for storing the samples and information about the material - very technical stuff.

Its quite fascinating and I wished I'd bought the other ones the guy had.
However I don't have the space for this so it will be going on ebay in the near future.
