Raindrops on daylily leaf

Day lilies (hemerocallis), of which there are many in my garden, seem to have just the right surface properties for raindrops to stick to -- nothing else in my garden comes close. Notice the wonderful refractions of other plants in the drops along the edge of the leaf.
