Make a Wish

The lovely man who mows my lawns came yesterday. The grass looks really tidy except for this pair that, although knocked about, have managed to stand back up and reach for the sun again. You can see that the one on the right took a real chop from the mower but continues to live. Persistent wee beasties they are.

I'm not sure how I did it but I'm really pleased with the dof here - the fact that the focus is right on the centre level of the dandelion so the seedhead, spokes and outside are perfectly in focus and the foreground and background are out of focus.
