Purple Sandpiper

I was out and about with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust Photography Group today. We were looking for birds on the coast, There had been reports of Purple Sandpipers in Penzance. We found them at the back of the open swimming pool, on the rocky beach.

Weather today about 3 degrees, overcast.
