where paths meet

By WherePathsMeet

A local tree

This tree is on the lane between Sutton Scarsdale and Palterton, in the quiet local Doe Lea valley farming countryside (apart from the motorway which runs just behind the camera position). It was dull and a little milder today, with just a few spots of rain. The thaw is well under way now, but it will take a while for the ice on the lakes to melt, I should think.

After being snowbound last Sunday it was good to get over to the fellowship in Bakewell. We enjoyed some wonderful hymns and an uplifting message from Luke 4, where Jesus read the prophecy from Isaiah 61 and claimed to be the actual fulfilment of the words He read.

Tomorrow the whole family is hoping that we will finally hear a diagnosis for my niece Jessica. She has seemed much better than she was - enough to manage a full week at school.

Sometime during the week I should hear about the job following the interview last Monday.
