Arran Whisky

I took this shot on Monday. I'm bliping it a wee bit late, but better late than never. This is an empty bottle from the Arran Distillery which is in the north of the island. It's a Machrie Moor. The gold label is embossed onto the glass so it can't be removed. I slumped this bottle in a kiln at about 800 deg. and the label has remained on the flat bottle, wonderfully visible! You can see the hole I've drilled ready to fit a clock mechanism.

This will make a different and unusual clock for any fan of Arran Whiskies..
