Baked Mochi

Last weekend I found myself in Pampanga Clark Field for the 17th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. While this entry is not about that, I thought of sharing the food adventure we had after we watched the balloons fly to the sky.

After having an unhealthy lunch at Aling Lucing's Sisig, we had our dessert at Susie's Cuisine, famous for their native delicacies such as the mochi and the tibok-tibok. Baked mochi is a popular dessert in the province made from glutinous rice stuffed with sweetened red beans and topped with a generous serving of coconut milk. It's so good that one can eat ten in one sitting on a hot lazy afternoon.
