Snow globe Kitty

My girls love Hello Kitty stuff. Anna got this Hello Kitty snow globe ball thingy in her stocking this Christmas, which doesn't really do much. I feel a bit sorry for Hello Kitty, stuck in this cloudy glittering ball, forever spinning on her axis, never going anywhere (except occasionally being tossed down the stairs). And if I were to release her from her plastic ball prison, would she be worth it or would she be smelly and rubbery and less attractive without the soft focus and shimmering highlights?
