Blea Tarn: grasses & branch

After my trip to Blea Tarn last Wednesday, this week's group wanted to visit it and see if there was any snow left. There was (some), but most had turned to windblown ice. The tarn itself was frozen solid still. I took a shot similar to this last week, but didn't blip it, so I re-shot this version today, I really liked the simplicity of the picture, but the contrast between the long, slender grasses, and the claw-like branch stuck in the ice.

I shot at a wide aperture to keep the background non-distracting and simple.
