Long-tailed field mouse

What a diddy little thing this was! I saw it out of the corner of my eye while sat in the car. It was scurrying under leaves and plants; it would pop it's head out here and there and eventually came out completely for a wash.

I know lots of you will already be standing on a stool with broom in hand, but - well, it's only a photo, and it was where it was meant to be. In a field:)
