Memories

Took my car for a service to Penrith first thing this morning. Went into town for a walk round, not a place I visit often. Thought I would see how the new Squares shopping development was coming along.

In my younger days I played lots of local football for Grasmere we were not bad on the local scene & always had top of the table battles with Wetheriggs a Penrith team.

Your wondering what the picture has to do with this! Well this is what the pitch is now Sainsbury's car park. I think we got better attendances than this!!!
