This Too Will Vanish...

She feels like a tourist...

Today we got up early as Stewart had a meeting with an art dealer. Then it was haircuts by Megan time. After the art and hair buisness was dealt with, Stewart painted awhile. The sun was filling the flat so Stewart hatched the idea of getting a picnic lunch from Real Foods and taking it to the Princes Street gardens to enjoy. So we did and after that we headed to City Art Centre, where the show I wanted to see was sadly already gone and the art that was up didn't move us too much. We crossed the street to visit the Fruitmarket gallery. Oh man.... I left that gallery a bit grossed out by the state of art today.

We walked around some more, headed up the High Street and down to the grassmarket and stopped by Red Door Gallery and Armstrongs. We then went into several places on Broughton Steet and Leith Walk where I acquired a change purse by local artist, Julia Laing and then to the neighborhood pub for a beer and back home for a stirfry.

It was a lovely day.
