Mounted Police

Caught this horse, hamming it up from within the police trailer, parked at the intersection of a very busy set of streets. I guess being in service in Washington, a horse like this gets a lot of attention, between large crowd events and large numbers of tourists.

What was interesting about this horse is that it looked like a mini-clydsdale: big legs with lots of hair -- a sharp contrast to the otherwise lean animals which you can see used by the police.
