Rambutans

It is rambutan season at the moment and they are for sale all over Jakarta. Here you can see the two types side by side.

The hairy outside is removed to reveal a grey-ish spherical fruit (reminds me of an eyeball!). It is sweet and fleshy with a seedy pip in the middle. Quite tasty.
