A slice of Lesley's life

Ski-girl

Final day of skiing and seems appropriate to bookend it in the blipworld with Anna. Hard to remember how nervous she was and how much she told us she wasn't going to like skiing. As this image might show, she's changed her mind. Carl and I have been alternating taking Jackson the ski-puppy out in the mornings before all meeting for lunch and our respective lessons in the afternoon. For the first time Anna wanted to go too so we had our first proper family ski. The kids took great joy in taking us on the little secret routes their instructor had taken them on. And showing us the ridges they'd been up - and down. It's taken me about ten years to get Carl back on a ski-slope after an unfortunate and unmentionable incident that left him without the use of his left arm for a couple of months. All it took was having children and turning them into ski-nags. And now everyone's a convert and talking about next year's trip already.

Tired and happy.
