...over Dunbar, East Lothian, east coast of Scotland!

This Cordyline australis has no business being alive.

It grows on top of a cliff exposed to the howling, biting east wind.

Most of the other palm trees in the area died in last years winter.

This one, though, above the cliff path, is made of sterner stuff!
