I've been trying to blip this old house in Lézignan for ages. It must have been magnificent once, but as you can see it hasn't had much care and attention for a long time. The rendering is flaking off in big chunks, the paint is peeling off the shutters, some of the windows are broken ...

At the back of the courtyard with its grand double wrought-iron gates is this odd little structure. I've no idea what it is, but it looks a bit elaborate to be a garden shed. Perhaps it's the family vault! Anyway, I tried to capture the grain of the different materials: iron, brick, stone, concrete, gravel, wood.
