A late New Year's resolution for us all ~ though it didn't make me immediately join the gym whose wall it is attached to.
My maternal Grandmother was always fond of saying "...everything in moderation."
My Mother was constantly telling us we would get "square eyes" from watching too much TV.
My Father would tell us that "The wind will change and you'll stay like that..." whenever we pulled a face.
As kids if we got in a huff then our Uncle Barry would comment on our "fat lips" and tell us we resembled a "bulldog chewing a wasp".

I favour "What goes around, comes around" ~ a motto I like to stick to.
