Bravest Face

Evening all,

This has been a tough week for our family and perhaps not a half term that i'll remember most fondly.

However, having said that i think the youngest member of our house has had a decent half term, and, tonight ,as she charges past me being chased by two of her friends, dragging a pair of pop up tents behind her in preparation for an indoor camping sleepover, she seems to be mainly shielded from all the hullabulloo and drama that we've had.

We've had a long day, having fun and throwing ourselves off too tall trees into the dubious embrace of zip wires and muddy landing strips at the Go Ape in Buxton.

It was cold,damp and very misty on the course, and all the other sensible souls had stayed away, leaving us the course too ourselves with a personal escort from one of the attendants, until he got too cold and a bit bored, and wandered off into the mists.

I was very brave today, and hardly whimpered or cried at all when i went down the zip wires, bravest face clearly on show!!
