The big vote

Voting papers have arrived today for the referendum on the redevelopment of Union Terrace Gardens. An issue that has generated a huge amount of heat and hot air over the last year in the local area.
Although I rather like the Gardens they are dark and dingy and hardly used. The proposed development will breathe a bit more life into the centre of the Granite City (badly needed) so I'll be voting "yes". It'll be a close run thing though I suspect - the majority of folk over 60 will vote "no" including most of my extended family.
