Social or Medical?

A yucky start to the day but what a change in the afternoon, when the sun decided to come out.

Can someone explain to me this obsession with hospitals in turning into some sort of social place? Every hospital I seem to visit these days has a kind of coffee area, with shops etc. Jeeze some of them even have their own Starbucks, W.H.Smiths, jewellery and delicatessen shops.

I know we don't want to hospitals to be dark depressing places, but this seems ridiculous. Some people might start making them a place for a date.

Hmmmm that's a thought! *Makes mental note for next date* Lol!
