Attack of the swans

I'm aware that Finlay looks rather worried in this shot; to be honest, he has good reason to be. What you can't see is the gang of twenty or so swans gathering menacingly behind us and hungry for the bread we were clinging to. We had a wee trip with friends down to Inverleith Park and I've never seen so many swans all in one place. I've also never had a swan stand eye-to-eye with me, but today there were a few who decided it was there best chance to beat the gulls to the bread. Yes it was intimidating being surrounded (literally) by swans but at least they seemed to be good natured; just persistant.

Whilst Finlay appears rather traumatised, he did actually have a good time. Although it was bitterly cold and our hands were like blocks of ice before the bread was gone.
