KALEIDOSCOPE

A lovely afternoon today. I went on the local annual snowdrop walk. The last couple of years it was either raining or snowing, so it was great to see it all in glorious sunshine this year. I took lots of photos of the drifts of snowdrops, as well as celandines and other plants, but couldn't really do them justice. The church and the Georgian chapel are open on Snowdrop Sunday, and the sun streaming through the stained glass was beautiful. Then it was back to the Village Hall for tea and cakes provided by the ladies of the village - yum! In a month or two it looks as though the woods are going to be full of violets, but unfortunately not open to the public.
