Two blippers (and an honourary blipper - he drove!) took a trip to the Clyde Valley.

We found horses, and tall trees, an iron bridge and - inevitably - some very fine cups of coffee.

We also found this old fire engine, which from the plate, styling and the fact the driver's seat was on the other side we concluded was American. I wonder how it ended up in Lanarkshire?

A 1928 Reo Speed Wagon. Bet she saw some service and she certainly was a pleasure to see on a cold February day.
