Skiing

When it comes to downhill skiing I'm the first to admit that I'm a comedy skier for the most part. However, this week we hired cross country skis and I have discovered that I much, much prefer cross country skiing as a past-time. If I lived in Finland I'd be out on the trails every day, given half the chance, and I'd probably be very fit as a result! Today we went for a lovely trek along the trail that starts at the top of Clare's road and through the beautiful snowy woodland, stopping for coffee at a little gallery along the way. It was sunny and a bit warmer and consequently there were lots of people out doing the same thing.
