allotment day

River and I had a nice afternoon at the allotment today - digging, finding shells and sticks, looking for monsters and aliens as you do ... Then he stepped on a thorn so I lifted him onto the seat of some machinery to have a look and he had a bit of a drive while he was there. Later he tripped and scratched his face on some sticks which was not very much fun at all :(
