The Kennet and Avon Canal again

This is the section of the Kennet and Avon Canal between the Dundas and Avoncliffe aqueducts - one of the most picturesque sections we've walked so far. This section was to 'fill a gap' - we've now walked all the way from the start of the canal in Bath to the outskirts of Devizes. To celebrate this achievement, we stopped off at Troughs Cafe at Avoncliffe where we had what I can only describe as the most tasty sausage butties in the world, served with a magnificent home-made tomato relish!

A few more photos here.

Last night's wedding celebration was great fun, the bride and groom are clearly very much in love, and the band was absolutely brilliant - particularly 'George', who did an outstanding performance of "While my guitar gently weeps".
