I decided today that taking a photo of my wife and little girl could be over compliacated to good effect.

I used a soft box on my sb700 flash to light the pair infront of a white background then boosted the exposure in post production to burn out the sheet.

I think it works well as it picks up all the details in the girls faces and makes them sparkle. I had trouble doing this all in camera without a second light and as a result had to push the iso ip a tad.

Told you I overcomplicated things... I think they look nice though.
