The Big Move

Almost a year ago now, the (now) husband, cats, and I packed up and moved across the country, from Brooklyn to Colorado. We left the city in search of a more meaningful life, filled with adventure and new experiences. Equally important was that my brother and his wife also made the move from Canada to Colorado.

Now, nearly a year has passed and my brother and his wife are moving again. This time into a house which feels like it'll be nearly a world away. Sure, we're all still in the same general metropolitan area. It just feels like it'll be so different. No longer will they be a short three-mile drive to visit. Instead, it'll be a 45-minute trip. Hey, maybe it'll just be a series of 45-minute adventures!
