Holkham Hall

Last day of our Norfolk odyssey and we spent the morning walking through the deer park at Holkham Hall. This is the home of the Coke family, whose ancestor, Thomas Coke was known as father of agriculture. He invented selective breeding, four course rotation etc. The picture is of an ancient tree, which I am sure has some stories to tell, and the wing of the hall.
