Lanchid

Spring has arrived today so instead of cake&coffee had an outing with my friend to the new Gold Museum. Another great place to visit if ever in Budapest. It's a private collection of Asian gold statues, jewellery and co. Must admit the tiny knowlege I've collected when preparing for visiting Thailand in '99 has vanished, so will have to be back and make sure to go for a guided visit. Oh, and don't miss the cafe as it's furnished with gorgeous eastern furniture and the walls are covered with orchids, so you'd think you are in a fairy tale garden.

On the photo is my favourite bridge the Lanchid (Chain Bridge) built by Adam Clark. Scotts are everywhere. :-)
