Zoutkamp

After a 1hour run we decided to explore the village a bit. Zoutkamp is a nice fisherman's town in the far North of the Netherlands. Quite nice. We decided to leave for Dokkum around 3 but had a little accident. Nothing serious, we just tried to leave when we were still plugged in the electricity pole.. Not a very bright thing to do. Anyway, we made some damage to the pole so we had to report it to the marina office manager and it was 5 pm when we finaly left Zoutkamp. We could have stayed there but we both didn't feel like staying much longer. The trip to Dokkum was great though and by the time we were in Dokkum our spirits were up again.

Dokkum is the nicest town. Its the most Northern city in the Netherlands and there are lots of nice old buildings and mills and places to go. Even though it rained the whole time we were there we loved it.
