Rather than pay for yet another car-park we'd walk down to whatwas F.W.Woolwowth's latterly ''B&M" (''Same dog, washed'' as Mam used to say).
En route we passed close enough to some unafraid house-sparrows to try a couple of shots ... BUGGER! camera only auto-focused on the bloody twigs :¬((

Then there were a couple of shots of brand new, shiny, Hawthorn buds, open enough to qualify as ''Bread & Cheese''. Same detail, must go back and hand-focus.
