A Day at the Festival

Today we did our blitz of the festival in one day as usual, trying to get as much done in one go and then steer clear for teh rest of it. The festival is a wonderful idea of course but Jen spends all day inundated with tourists at work so it puts a bit of a damper on trying to go out and enjoy. I can't bear the crowded streets, that's my excuse.

Today we managed:

This show belongs to Lionel Richie, which explains where all the Lionel Richie related stickers and beer mats came from last year. Not outrageously funny but very good in parts

The X-Files Improv with Dean Haglund, which I saw last year but jen couldn't manage so we went together this time. Still as hilarious as it was last year, though the improv part of it (which involves the audience doing stuff on stage) means that it's never repetitive.

The Fawlty Towers Dining Experience, which I had been looking forward to for a while. It was absolutely spot on I thought, you really felt like you were dining at the legendary Fawlty Towers.

We also managed to get rather more drunk than expected which put a bit of a damper on it towards the end.
