Madeleines

I bought a new little cook book at the weekend - "Nutella - les 30 recettes cultes".

Normally I shy away from books like this as they are often disappointing once you actually look at the recipes (rather than just the mouth watering pictures!) - chocolate cake au nutella which turns out to be a normal standard chocolate cake with Nutella spread over it for the topping....

However, this book at first glance had a few interesting ideas and as it was on offer for a couple of euros I threw caution to the wind....or I expect, inches to the hips.....

These are the Mini Madeleines au Nutella. The recipe made rather more than the few pictured but things like this tend to disappear rather quickly around here!
