Batman

Watching an original episode of Batman whilst doing a bit of ironing. I'd forgotten just how camp Adam West played the part. Still, it was great in its day and was a must watch as a child.

Like so many of my age I had a Corgi Batmobile. It came complete with chain slasher, rocket launcher and flame effect exhaust. The one I had even had a retailer with the Batboat on! This combo was a gift from a lodger my mum put up who was working at, the then, YTV. She was a co-host of a Hughie Green show (might have Sky's The Limit) Anyhoo, I'm sure I didn't mind sharing my room with her for a few days. Being 11 in those days was a much more sheltered existence than it seems to be now.
