Resting places

I wandered down to St Cuthbert's at the foot of Lothian Road during lunch today, and this mausoleum caught my eye. Such an intricate structure standing proud amongst the adjacent stones. Whilst the cemetery provides an element of calm within the city centre, you can't help but notice the hustle and bustle of city life happening all around. In the background to this shot is the Caledonian Hilton Hotel; a very different type of resting place.
