Svolvaer with Mountains

Once the clouds roll away, you start to get an idea of why the tourist boards and guidebooks enthuse quite so much about the Lofoten Islands. Over the last three days I've had a chance to have a glimpse of what's there between the snow showers.

I can feel another visit coming on, but for now my next task is to try and find the bus to Narvik, so I can catch the train en route to my next set of islands.
