Casa Batllo

A very Gaudi day today... We visited Parc Guell this morning, had lunch outside on the Rambla de Catalunya and then toured Casa Batllo. This is T is the light well inside Casa Batllo. We took our time going through the house with the audioguides... every part of it is so well thought out and beautifully crafted. We were very impressed.

After Casa Batllo we headed back to Poblenou and spent more time on the beach, climbling, watching the waves crash and trying to photograph them. The girls and J eventually took their shoes off and walked along the beach, jumping waves. Crazy Canadians, doing that in February! We had dinner at the apartment but went out for waffles and ice cream on the Rambla de Poblenou. Seems the carnaval festivities happened here on the week-end but it was a very nice mardi gras, even so.
