First crocus

For flowers, we're a bit behind those of you in what I used to think was "the north" and I now know as "down south". However our crocuses have started to emerge at last.

Actually, one came out last month and was immediately eaten, showing once again the hazard of being a pioneer. This one is taking no chances, and attempting to hide among the snowdrops.
