Waulkmill Bay

No jiggery pokery here - these are the real colours of an Orkney summer, on a good day! We revisited this beach as my sister has a photo of her son, Chris, here at less than two years old! The beach has changed hardly at all, unlike her strapping hunk of a son! Why is it you hardly ever visit the lovely places that are local to you unless you have visitors? So glad Clare was here, otherwise I would have missed out on a super day. We went and watched the archaeologists digging up a recently found site and it was absolutely fascinating.
