Heron isle

So much for the predicted heatwave; the sun finally emerged at 2pm.

Cycled to Radley Lakes whereupon the sun promptly hid behind clouds - only to reappear just as I got home at 4pm!

This tiny islet is a favourite resting spot for heron. I realise you can barely see them in this shot so you'll just have to use your imagination :)
