Crocuses and Bruntsfield Links

I took lots of photos of crocuses today. Mostly along Melville Drive, beside the Meadows. I've decided to use this one because it has more than crocuses.

This blip is looking up the hill from the Drive towards Bruntsfield and beyond the play park to an old school building on the right. It was originally Boroughmuir Secondary School from 1904, later became James Gillespie's School for Girls (and St Trinian's in the film), before changing back to the "ownership" of Boroughmuir to become the "Junior School" in 1972. I remember the place well as a pupil. Now it provides accommodation for students at the University. History lesson over ;o)
