Einstein's Blackboard

I had some training today on how to cope with outreach projects involving children. It's a sad state of affairs that there are so many rules and regulations about what you can do, just in case it is interpreted in the wrong way and legal recourse is required.

Anyway - it took place in the room where Einstein's blackboard is situated. Einstein gave a lecture at Nottingham in the 1930s and with presence of mind, the people involved saved the blackboard for posterity.

You can read all about the affair here.

It's not a very good photo, the light was terrible and the glass covering it reflected no matter where I stood - so this is the best of a bad bunch.
