This morning we assisted the Italian tug 'Carlo Magno' with mooring of the material barge H-627 on the stern of the 'Hermod'. This is a big barge and therefore we used a prefabricated stern bridle. On the picture you can see our blue polyprop messenger wire transferred and connected to the retrieval wire of the sternbridle. We pull the blue wire back on our deck, connect the stern bridle to the nylon stretcher just visible on our aft deck and that's all. Ready for towing. Compared to the size of the yellow riggers in their survival suit, you can see how big the barge is. By the way: I have to correct the text of yesterday's picture; summer is back and the weather is beautiful.
