It is Friday!

This is Emma Williams who was the lead singer with Boogie Bill's Billionaires at Burgundy's Wine Bar last night. Although she looks a little sad in this sketch she was the total opposite filling the room not only with her rich mellow voice but also with vibrancy and joyfulness. And all that made it a real challenge to capture on paper. I started with her eyes as they epitomised her character but they constantly looked in all directions!! I think she had forgotten that I was trying to sketch her. She was having a great time - I was struggling!! Emma has featured before. Other members of the group were Bill Roberts on keyboards and Paul Froggatt on tenor sax. We very much look forward to their next visit.
