Predictable.....

Last day here and wow it was bright bright bright. Feeling very very thankful to have been able to sit outside with the sun warming me for an hour or two.

I took this sitting outside one of my favourite hotels (I have never stayed there but the views are great from there and the staff are super friendly and don't mind if you look a bit backpackery). Whilst I ate a sandwich I also took this piccy...that's all I did in Venice today...just sat and people watched from this spot. Got a water taxi back to the airport which was a really exciting experience....is it wrong for the taxi ride back to the airport to be a highlight of a holiday???
