Frogmore Stew

I've been wanting to try this recipe for quite some time now. It's really so simple and I knew the idea of it would appeal very much to our boys. The rules with Frogmore Stew is to get a newspaper and dump it all in the center of the table and eat it with your hands only. How could skipping utensils NOT appeal to boys? Believe it or not, I had no newspapers so we had to settle for paper towels. I can't tell you how many times Landon said he looooved it...it was really quite cute how excited he was about it as was Liam. Loren was his usual reserved self. :) Here's the recipe:

FROGMORE STEW:

Ingredients:

6 quarts water
3/4 cup Old Bay Seasoning TM
2 pounds new red potatoes
2 pounds hot smoked sausage links, cut into 2 inch pieces
12 ears corn - husked, cleaned and quartered
4 pounds large fresh shrimp, unpeeled

Directions:

Bring water and Old Bay Seasoning to boil in a large stockpot.
Add potatoes and cook for 15 minutes. Add sausage and cook for 5 minutes more. Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in the shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink, about 5 minutes. Drain immediately and serve.

(I added drawn butter, lemons and Tabasco on the side)
